Jill H. Vassar, Executive Consultant, has 30 years of experience in economic development, strategic planning, energy, governance, nonprofits, marketing and development. Her expertise includes business development, leadership, partnerships, communications, data management and analysis, and creative problem-solving.
Most recently Jill was the Chief Development and Partnerships Officer at an energy innovation hub. She partnered with the founding CEO to envision, design, implement and iterate a concept into tangible programs and services while engaging global stakeholders. Jill led business development, fundraising, membership, communications, think tank programs and strategic partnerships while overseeing financial reporting and stewarding strategic planning.
Jill H. Vassar was the first Director of Advancement at Good Samaritan Community Services, a social service agency serving some of South Texas' highest poverty level zip codes. She was also a Vice President of the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation (now greater:SATX) where she recruited new companies to the area. She is an engaged community leader with high visibility roles, current and past, in museums, educational institutions and arts organizations as well as scientific, professional and philanthropic concerns. Every one of her professional and volunteer roles has included some form of strategic planning where she served as a leader, organizer, facilitator, translator, champion, subject matter expert or participant, or all of these roles simultaneously.
